I finally broke down and got a Twitter. Hopefully this will inspire me to work harder on the site. Follow me if you want.

I’m already using Twitter more than I expected, so follow me to see the madness.

March 25, 2011 Update: AT&T and T-Mobile Merger, Japan and Nuclear Power, and Scandinavia and the World.

If you didn’t hear, AT&T is going to be acquiring T-Mobile. This is going to greatly increase AT&T’s coverage. How this will affect T-Mobile customers is still unknown though. You can check out the official website HERE.

After all the problems with their nuclear power plant, Japan has decided to never use nuclear power again. I honestly don’t blame them, even if nuclear power is usually safe, situations like this show that it is still really dangerous.

This is a nice little web-comic called Scandinavia and the World. Its all very fun crazy stuff, and anyone familiar with anime will probably think of Hetalia when they see this. The creator of this comic also two other web-comics, I think this one is the best though. You can find the website HERE.

Earthquake hits Japan

A 8.8 magnatude earthquake hit Japan today, causing a Tsunami. Many are without power, and a nuclear power plant could have been damaged. The Tsunami appears to be heading toward Hawaii. I will try to keep you posted.

The tsunami that hit Japan had waves that were 30 feet high and went six miles inland. The death toll is expected to rise above 1000.  Hawaii and California weren’t hit as hard, getting a 9 foot tall wave and a 8 foot tall wave respectively. A nuclear power plant is having problems cooling the reactor, but there has been no sign of radiation leaking.

I hope those that are still missing are found unharmed. Those who pray, pray for their safety.

March 2, 2011 Update: iPad 2, Ninja Gaiden 3, Charile Sheen, Free iPhone Apps.

Well you probably already heard by now, but Apple has announced the iPad 2. I looks pretty awesome, but there’s one thing I’m kinda not crazy about. The iPad 2 has a magnetic cover that also works as a stand. I’ve always learned that you keep magnets AWAY from displays, so the thought of having one so close to my iPad isn’t really that appealing.

Ninja Gaiden 3 has been announced, which should be interesting to say the least. Since I actually beat the second one, I can honestly say that I fear the hell they’re about to unleash, because that was the hardest game I’ve ever played. This trailer really isn’t as good as the one for Ninja Gaiden 2, mostly because it doesn’t have a scythe, and seems like the new “feature” is seeing his face. Team Ninja, I will never understand you.

If you haven’t been paying attention, Charlie Sheen has been losing his mind, and it has been VERY entertaining. The things he says are completely nuts, and I can’t wait till his ego gets destroyed, because he is completely full of himself.

If you guys have an iPhone or iPad, you probably love apps. Let me direct you to Free App a Day, or FAAD. FAAD is free to download, and everyday they have new games to download for free. Some of the apps are complete crap, but there are some good ones that pop up now and again. It’s worth checking out, trust me on this one, I’ve avoided paying for some good games this way.

If you have an interest in 3D animation, there is currently a program that is dirt cheap. Messiah Studio is only $10 standard and $40 pro, compared to the regular price of $500 and $1195. This deal only is going to last for about 11 more hours.

[UPDATE] The sale is now over.

Also, Square Enix is having a sale of all their games this week on Steam. A new game every day is put on sale, along with Square Enix’s entire library in a bundle, for $75, which saves you $531.69.

Bing Stealing From Google

I heard about this from someone at school, but I needed to get some confirmation before I posted it. I found it and to say the least I’m not surprised.  Bing has been stealing search results from Google. Google realized this when they were correcting typos, and noticed the typos were being fixed on Bing without Bing reporting them to be fixed. Google then started a sting operation. By creating a one time search term, Google was able to prove that Bing has been stealing from them. When Bing first came out, I did a search on Google, then did the same search on Bing. The results were the exact same.
